He has consistently supported county law enforcement, corrections staff, and emergency responders, advocating for operational stability, clear governance roles, and departmental accountability, while also recognizing the importance of rehabilitation and prevention for adult offenders, juveniles, and at-risk individuals.

Coker asserts that his campaign will emphasize practical solutions, respectful collaboration, and professional management of county responsibilities. 

“This campaign is not about politics—it’s about enhancing our community. Curry County deserves proven leadership that delivers local results. I’m committed to continuing that work.

“This means supporting law enforcement and corrections professionals, ensuring facilities and systems function properly, and investing in rehabilitation and intervention pathways that reduce the risk of repeated harm and enhance community safety.”

Based on 13 years of providing volunteer rehabilitation services within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Coker’s approach embodies a balanced philosophy: firm accountability combined with practical rehabilitation strategies that safeguard the public while offering pathways toward recovery and stability for offenders.
